Woburn, Massachusetts - January 26, 2010-  BMEGateway, a national leader in Independent Medical Evaluation and Managed care services held a 20th Anniversary Kick –Off celebration last week and announced the addition of William Morgan, MD. to the BMEGateway executive team. 

In a statement, released by John C. Addonizio, C.E.O. of BMEGateway, it is clear that great things are expected from the addition of Dr Morgan.

“We are very proud to announce that Dr. William Morgan is joining BMEGateway as Vice President of Business Development.  In the Business Development role, Dr. Morgan is slated to work in many areas of the organization from medical program development, certification and credentialing, quality assurance, educational forums and other responsibilities associated within his position.”

Dr. Morgan is a world-renowned orthopedic surgeon whose career began at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.  He is best known to the public for serving the Boston Red Sox Organization as team physician and medical director for over 17 years.   He was the lead physician that surgically repaired Curt Schilling’s ankle when the Red Sox won the World Series in 2004.

As a businessman, Dr. Morgan has built numerous successful medical programs for large hospital groups such as UMASS, Caritas Christi and Fallon Clinic. Dr. Morgan has worked for BMEGateway over the past decade as a consultant on specialized orthopedic cases.
